He works closely with professional athletes, NIL earners, and business owners to navigate contract compensation, endorsement structuring, cash flow optimization, and post-career financial security.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, a Master of Science in Human Performance and Wellness, and an MBA, equipping him with a unique blend of business strategy, performance psychology, and industry-specific expertise to serve high performers in every arena.
Beyond the boardroom, David remains connected to the game through his work with Nike EYBL’s Nightrydas program, where he mentors and develops the next generation of elite basketball talent. His mission is simple: to help high performers win today, protect their future, and build wealth that lasts for generations.
When he’s not in strategy sessions or coaching on the EYBL circuit, you’ll find David investing time with his family, mentoring future leaders, and building bridges between sports, business, and financial empowerment.

William J. Green III is a former international professional basketball player turned wealth strategist who empowers athletes and entrepreneurs to turn short-term income into long-term impact. After nearly a decade of competing on courts across the globe, William brings a player’s mindset and a strategist’s precision to financial planning—helping clients build, protect, and multiply wealth with intention and clarity.
As Co-Founder of 5th Quarter Wealth, William specializes in athlete-centered financial solutions, including income protection, tax-advantaged retirement planning, family banking systems, and NIL monetization strategies. He works with high school, college, and professional athletes, as well as business owners and entertainers. To help create customized wealth blueprints that reflect their values, goals, and lifestyles.
William holds degrees in Business Management and Sports Management, combining entrepreneurial insight with firsthand athletic experience. With a background in financial services, commercial real estate, and business development, he offers a 360° approach to wealth, bridging the gap between today’s opportunities and tomorrow’s legacy. His passion lies in teaching financial literacy, mentoring future leaders, and making complex wealth-building strategies simple and actionable.
When he’s not working with clients, William can be found training the next generation of hoopers, building the community , and helping others discover what it means to truly win in the “5th quarter” of life after the game.
